Australia
After my work at the Sydney Paralympic Games I took the opportunity to travel around Australia for another 5 weeks. Australia is an immense continent! A beautiful country with an enormous diversity of nature and culture, vast desolate areas and cosmopolitan cities with an 'No worries, mate' atmosphere to be envious of. From Sydney I flew to Darwin. From Darwin via Litchfield and Kakadu National Park, Katherine, Daly Waters, Devil's Marbles,... further south to Alice Springs. Then to the inevitable Ayers Rock, The Olgas, Kings Canyon, Palm Valley, Gosses Bluff,... From Alice Springs to tropical Cairns and then up north to Cape York, the most northeastern point of the Australian mainland. Back in Cairns I took a diving course and then went to admire the wonder world of the Great Barrier Reef.
