As official photographer of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) I've covered the ATLANTA 1996, SYDNEY 2000, ATHENS 2004 and BEIJING 2008 Paralympic Summer Games and the SALT LAKE 2002 and TORINO 2006 Paralympic Winter Games.

Lieven wins Paralympic Media Awards 2005

Lieven has won the Paralympic Media Awards 2005 (photo category) with photos from the ATHENS 2004 Paralympic Games. Lieven's work was chosen from work submitted by other international photographers by a jury of experts such as members of the IPC, IOC, Agence France Presse, Input Media London and Getty Images. The other Media Award winners are: BBC (broadcast), Daily Telegraph (print) and Yahoo! Japan (online). Lieven was presented with his trophy at a gala dinner in Beijing, China on 19 November 2005.
